Amanda Sheller - Ohmigosh! I looked my name up on the internet today during school and it came up on your site-- some cheerleader? That's pretty cool since someone has the same name as me and we're not even related! It's not like my name is really common, like "Jane Smith" or anything! I'm a Junior at a high-school in SE Iowa. (And I'm talking about my first AND last name, not just my first name. Duh. Amanda is such a common first name. It's the Sheller part that's uncommon) :)

Chris - As a mother of a third year flag player and third year coach I would like to say how wonderful Pop Warner is, especially the dedication of Bill Nevits! Great web site!!!!

Ian - Great page. I'm involved in the Manitoba Minor Football Association in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Our league has 4 age groups; a. 7-8 (six man),b. 9-10 (9 man),c.11-12 and 13-14 (12 man). We register by district and the first a.18, b.24 & c.34 players to sign up are the team, there are no try outs. We have a participation rule that does not allow players to go both ways. The team is divided into O & D units. We currently have 34 teams in the City. Our season starts mid August and ends the end of October. I am interested in any information available on league organization and sponsership ideas.

Jeff - so great to be living in Florida (football is quite popular here!) and check on my Bears. Tell Coach Nevits that Jeff Jakes says, Hello. I was his quarterback for a few years back in the late 70s...

I am from his hometown of Springville, NY, so I was curious as to what was out there in cyberspace about him. I'm not having any luck though, as everything is about the Pop Warner Football League and nothing is about Pop Warner the man.

I can assure you that by next season I will be even better then I was this year. Weight will not be a factor due to the fact that the weight limit will still be 150. Feel free to consider me for other positions. I would like to give special thanks to Mr.Brown who worked especially hard with me and showed confidence in me. Daniel - It is great to see such a professional web site for NH Pop Warner. I am an alumni from the era of the late 70's and still have fond and vivid memories of my time spent playing Pop Warner football with the Cubs and the Bears. I am glad to see such an important tradition in the New Hartford area is continuing. Good luck this season and please don't forget that I don't remember if we won or lost, but I do remember playing and having fun!!

Stephen - As well as being a Pop Warner parent I'm also an Asst Head Coach for the Fairfield Falcons Midget team, which plays in the Northern California Redwood Empire Association. My wife has been the Falcons league president for the last two years. The Falcons Midget team is currently 6-1 for the '98 season and we are getting things ready for the playoffs.
